David Robinson
CEO, ActiveTorque.

Before joining ActiveTorque, David spent 5 years as MD of Bishop Manufacturing Technology, a successful Australian IP based company which developed and manufactured innovative products to the automotive industry. David is a qualified electrical engineer and has spent more than 2 decades in technology project management.


Larry Weng

Larry is the inventor of the ActiveTorque technology. Larry holds a Bachelor of Engineering from UQ and is currently completing his PhD in Engine Control systems.


David Muir

David is UniQuest’s lead project manager for ActiveTorque. David’s experience includes 6 years in R&D and management within the manufacturing sector and 2 years operations management in the finance sector. David has an Engineering degree from Queensland University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.

David Israel
Chairman

David has a diverse background across higher education, business and technology. During the late '80's David was involved in managing major institutional strategic change in the higher education sector helping drive efficiencies from organisational restructuring and changes to the management and governance of universities. He then worked in commercialisation and internationalisation of education as Director of Continuing Education at the University of Adelaide. More recently, David has experience in the development and commercialisation of technology products and services having developed several online business services and a number of applied technology including automated control systems, vehicle management systems and software solutions. David is UniQuest’s commercialisation manager for the School of IT and Electrical Engineering.


Peter Devine
Director

Dr Peter Devine has extensive experience at board and executive management levels in early stage technology start up companies. He is currently the Investment Director for Uniseed – a $61 million pre-seed venture capital fund operating out of the Universities of Melbourne, New South Wales and Queensland. In this role, Peter is responsible for Uniseed's investment activities, and plays a pivotal role in the sourcing, selection and management of investments. He is a director of a number of investee companies including Active Torque.

Peter has held senior R&D, business development and commercialisation positions in a number of Australian companies, as well as Australian universities. Before joining Uniseed, Peter was Vice President of Business Development at Progen Industries Ltd. He was Research, Development and Commercialisation Manager at Brisbane-based PanBio Pty Ltd from 1996 to 2000 and also worked in Business Development at UniQuest Pty Ltd, the commercialisation arm of University of Queensland.

Peter holds a PhD from the University of Queensland and received the Dean's Prize for his MBA Studies at the Australian Graduate School of Management. He received a Centenary Medal in 2003 for outstanding contribution to the business of biotechnology. He is a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.



Stephen Denaro
Company Secretary

Mr. Denaro is a Chartered Accountant with previous public company CFO and Secretary experience with biotech and software companies. He has ASX listing experience, and has strong relevant corporate equity and debt funding management skills. He assists with governance reporting to the Board. Mr Denaro holds BCom, CA, MAICD, and Grad Dip Applied Corp Governance degrees.
