About Us

ActiveTorque Pty Ltd was established to commercialise engine management technology developed at the University of Queensland by PhD student Larry Weng. The company was established by UniQuest (UQ’s main technology transfer company) in 2005 following seed round investment from UniSeed and teQstart.

ActiveTorque received a Queensland Sustainable Energy Innovation Fund (QSEIF) grant via one of our technology partners ChipTorque in 2005.
The company is seeking investment as well as industry partners to further progress the development, scale-up and commercialisation of its technology.
